About this adventure
A free Thanksgiving-season drop-in at Oak Knoll's Nature Center all about wild turkeys, one of the region's most familiar and surprising birds. Activity stations and exhibits cover how turkey flocks behave and organize themselves, and the tracks, signs and habitat turkeys depend on around the sanctuary. Families can then head out on an optional trail walk looking for turkeys and the clues they leave behind. Stay as long or as short as you like within the two-hour window, and dress for the outdoors if you join the walk.
