About this adventure

The NC Museum of Art and Moore Square present free outdoor screenings in downtown Raleigh's Moore Square, and the November film is Wicked: For Good (2025), the PG-rated second part of the musical about Elphaba and Glinda, directed by Jon M. Chu and running 2 hours 17 minutes. In this chapter Elphaba lives in exile as the demonized Wicked Witch of the West while Glinda enjoys fame in the Emerald City, until an angry mob forces the two to reunite. The screening starts at 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon, so families can watch in daylight on the lawn; bring blankets or low chairs, layers for a November afternoon, and snacks, or grab food from the restaurants around the square. Admission is free. The film suits school-age children and tweens who know the first movie or the stage musical.
