About this adventure
A free take-home art kit from the North Carolina Museum of Art, picked up in the East Building lobby. This month's kit has materials and written instructions for a painting-and-printing project inspired by Helen Frankenthaler's woodcut Madame Butterfly — children sponge, stamp and layer colour into their own abstract picture at home. Kits are designed for all ages and come in English and Spanish. Reserve a kit through the museum's ticketing page and collect it during the two-hour pickup window.
