About this adventure

Westfield Galleria at Roseville opens its holiday season with an evening tree lighting ceremony from 4 to 6 PM. The mall describes festive entertainment, hot cocoa, holiday photo spots, seasonal activities and falling snow, with Santa on hand for the lighting of the tree; the live entertainment lineup had not been announced when we checked. It is a free-flowing, come-and-go family evening rather than a ticketed show, so arrive before the countdown if your children want a good view of the tree. Note the date: the event page lists both November 14 and November 21 (and a header date of November 15), so confirm on the mall's page before you plan around it. Santa photo sessions start at the mall on November 6, so the lighting is also a chance to see where the Santa set is.
