A Halloween-season FAM Studio morning at The New Children's Museum, run with Zero Waste San Diego. Families can bring a well-loved toy to the toy hospital for repairs, build spooky creatures from spare parts and found images, craft a junk frame or amulet, and settle in for a reuse-and-repair story time. Kids and grown-ups create together and children must stay with a caregiver. All ages are welcome, though most activities suit kids 4 and up; a toddler zone offers relaxed coloring and play. Free with museum admission (always free for members); space is limited, so register at the Welcome Desk. Last entry 11:15 a.m.
