About this adventure

JCC East Bay's Chanukah Around the World Family Festival gathers families at sunset to taste celebratory foods from different countries, learn customs of Jewish communities worldwide and join a communal chanukiyah lighting. Kids can make hanging menorahs like Moroccan and Indian Jews, learn how dreidel is played in Israel and hand-press olives as Italian Jewish communities do. Live music and partner organizations add to the fun. The program is geared to ages 2 to 8, but all are welcome; it is outdoors, so bundle up.
