A free evening holiday market at the Diablo Ballet Center for Dance in Walnut Creek, billed as a night of family fun and holiday cheer. Local artisans and vendors sell handcrafted gifts, there are bites to eat and family photos, and a salon offers complimentary tinsel hair extensions, which tends to be a hit with kids. Twenty percent of proceeds go to Diablo Ballet, its school scholarships and its Dance for Parkinson's and PEEK outreach programs. Admission is free, but the company asks guests to register in advance through Eventbrite; registrants are entered in a door-prize drawing. Drop in any time between 5:30 and 8:30 pm.
