About this adventure
DrawBridge, a Marin arts nonprofit, brings a free, family-friendly art session to the Fairfax Library each month. In November, children honor autumn's harvest by arranging colored dried beans into a mosaic or a mandala. It is a calm, tactile project that also practices pattern, symmetry and fine-motor skills. The library lists it for families, kids 5–9 and tweens 9–12, and younger siblings can usually join with help. The program lasts an hour after school, and no registration is listed. Funding comes from Giving Marin, the California Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, so there is no charge.
