During winter break, the Rockridge Branch of the Oakland Public Library presents kamishibai, Japanese paper-theater storytelling, on a winter theme, followed by making paper snowflakes together. Intergenerational family groups are especially invited. Parents and teachers of preschool, TK or kindergarten children can also learn how to check out a kamishibai kit to tell stories at home. The program runs one hour in the early evening.
