About this adventure
On a Friday afternoon in December, the South Tacoma Branch hosts the LED Holiday Cards edition of Tacoma Public Library's Up and Atom STEAM Days. Students in Grades K-8 wire paper circuits from copper tape, a coin cell battery and an LED, then build the circuit into a holiday card of their own design so part of it glows. Along the way they learn how current travels through a circuit. The 90-minute after-school session has no registration shown.
