Kids ages 5 to 10 can adopt a spooky ghost at Kirkwood Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. Each child takes home a mini ghost stuffie, decorates a haunted house to carry it in, gives the ghost a spooky name and enjoys a spooky snack. Sign-up is required, and the library asks families to reserve only for the children who are attending. The program lasts about an hour.
