About this adventure
The St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, about 100 young musicians from the St. Louis region and beyond led by music director Samuel Hollister, opens its season on the Powell Hall stage. The program includes Grażyna Bacewicz's wartime Overture and Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No. 1. For families, it is a chance to hear teenagers performing full symphonic repertoire in the orchestra's home hall.
