About this adventure

Terrace Community Middle School's fall race starts and finishes at Riverhills Park, by the boat ramp on South Riverhills Drive in Temple Terrace, on Saturday morning, November 7. The chip-timed 10K and 5K leave at 8 a.m. and wind through the city's residential golf-course neighborhood under its oak canopy, on courses the school describes as mostly flat and fast; the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk starts at 8:15, and the school invites the whole family to come out. Registrants receive a race-day T-shirt (guaranteed for sign-ups by November 1), a swag bag, a finisher's medal and light refreshments at the finish. Age-group awards go three deep in 10-year brackets that start at 10 and under. Leashed dogs are welcome if owners clean up after them. Packet pickup is Friday, November 6, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Temple Terrace Rec Center on Whiteway Drive; race-day registration opens at 6:30 a.m., and parking is at Riverhills Elementary next to the park. Fees are set on the RunSignup registration form; the race page does not list them.
