About this adventure
Fredericksburg's Thanksgiving Day 5K through downtown starts from James Monroe High School, with 1-mile kids' races first: boys and girls 9–12 at 7:00 and 7:05 am, 8 and under at 7:10 and 7:15 am, then the 5K waves from 7:30 am. Kids 5 and under get a 1/4-mile Tot Trot on the school track the day before (Wednesday, November 25, 4 pm). Every finisher gets a medal; there is no race-day packet pickup, so collect bibs Tuesday or Wednesday.
