About this adventure

The City of Alexandria rings in 2027 with two fireworks displays over the Potomac River from Waterfront Park in Old Town. Families with young children can catch the early show at 8 p.m. and be home by bedtime, while older kids and night owls can stay to welcome the new year with the midnight fireworks. The city suggests making a day of it: First Night Alexandria runs ticketed arts and family activities earlier in the day around Old Town, then everyone heads to the waterfront for the fireworks.
