Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national touring company from North Carolina, brings an interactive folktale show to Prince George's Publick Playhouse on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 2 pm. The one-hour performance celebrates world cultures through stories such as Anansi and pourquoi tales that explain why things in nature are the way they are, with plenty of audience participation. It is part of the Playhouse's Family Fun Series and is recommended for ages 4 to 10. Everyone needs a ticket regardless of age: $6 per child and $8 per adult; sales are final.
