The Anacostia Community Museum hosts a cozy Friday-morning story time, Big Moments, Little Stories, at 10:30 am in its Sunburst Lounge, lasting about an hour. Stories connect with the museum's current exhibition and celebrate community, family, neighborhood, history and the fall and winter seasons, and families are invited to stay for indoor play and creative exploration afterward. Sensory toys and tools are available for children who benefit from tactile or movement experiences. Recommended for ages 18 months to 7 years. Free; registration is via Eventbrite.
