About this adventure
A Halloween-season campfire for children aged 3 to 7 at Locust Grove Nature Center in Bethesda. Naturalists bring out live animal ambassadors — snakes, spiders and toads among them — for a presentation about nature's 'creepy' creatures, then everyone gathers around the campfire to roast a marshmallow. Costumes are encouraged. Each registration covers one child and their adult, and the program lasts an hour. Bad weather cancels it.
