About this adventure
A two-hour Friday-evening program for children 7 and up with a registered adult at Brookside Nature Center in Wheaton. Through games and interactive activities, families learn what makes squirrels, chipmunks, groundhogs, mice and rats such good survivors, and talk about nature-based ways to keep them out of houses and attics as the weather cools. Children are asked to bring a rodent story to share. It is mostly indoors, and there are no live rodents in the program.
