About this adventure

Little Sprouts is the City of Rockville nature program for its very youngest naturalists, held at Croydon Creek Nature Center. In 45 minutes toddlers and their caregivers share circle time, sensory activities and free play built around nature, moving at a relaxed pace suited to children who are just starting to walk and talk, and learning about the wonders of nature in a playful, age-appropriate way. The program is for ages 18 months to 3 years with a caregiver taking part. Registration is required and opened in August (Rockville residents first on August 11, general registration on August 13); the city listing does not print the fee, so check the registration system for cost and space. It is a gentle first outdoor-education class for families who want a weekday-morning activity with a toddler.
