The 11th annual Spooky Mad Science Expo brings Halloween and STEM together for an afternoon and evening at Patrick Henry Recreation Center. Families explore, experiment, build and create at hands-on activity stations, watch demonstrations, and meet STEM professionals from the community. Children are encouraged to show up in their favorite STEAM-inspired costume. The event is free and open to the public, and the four-hour window makes it easy to drop in with children of different ages.
