At the Pat White Center at Ben Lomond in Manassas, families make art and decorations from natural materials gathered during the park's habitat maintenance. An instructor introduces each craft station, and participants choose whichever projects appeal: stations may include wreath-making, collages and mosaics, natural dyes and paints, pressed-leaf drawing and milkweed seed sorting.
