About this adventure
A free intergenerational holiday afternoon that starts at the College Park Aviation Museum. Community elders and families share stories and memories of the historic Lakeland neighborhood, and everyone can make a keepsake ornament, either for the Lakeland Holiday Tree or to take home. At the end the group walks a short way from the museum to the Lakeland College Park Community Center for the annual tree lighting at 5 pm. No registration is needed, and it suits all ages; dress for a short evening walk.
