About this adventure

Downtown Frederick's annual Kris Kringle Procession is a small-town holiday parade for the whole family: local organizations, youth clubs and musical groups march alongside costumed characters through the historic downtown. The procession starts at the corner of South Carroll and East Patrick streets and ends in Baker Park, where a closing ceremony with carols culminates in the lighting of the City Tree. Find a curbside spot early along the route, or head straight to Baker Park for the singing and lighting. Parking downtown is free on weekends from Thanksgiving to New Year's; this is a Friday evening, so check meters.
