About this adventure

Lights On! is the City of Lakeway's free annual holiday and Christmas celebration, held in the Lakeway City Hall parking lot on the first Friday evening of December. The night begins with the official lighting of Lakeway's Trail of Lights, the self-guided walking trail of holiday lights behind City Hall, and families can be there for the moment it is switched on. Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elves come to meet children, listen to holiday wishes and pose for photos. The city also lines up live music with holiday favorites, s'mores and food from local vendors, family activities and photo spots. Parking is at the Lakeway Activity Center and the Justice Center, with a short walk to City Hall. The event is free for the whole community, and it is a good starting point for walking the newly lit trail.
