About this adventure
Downtown Taylor's Christmas Celebration fills Heritage Square for an afternoon and evening on the first Saturday of December. The Vendor Village opens at 3 p.m. with local booths, and the lighted Christmas Parade steps off at 6 p.m. from Murphy Park with Santa riding along. The city tree is lit right after the parade, and Santa stays for photos. For children there is free hot cocoa, a bounce house, a bubble booth, festive crafts and live music throughout. Arrive early if you want a curbside spot for the parade, and dress warmly for the evening. The event is put on by the City of Taylor and runs until 8:30 p.m.
