Quiet Caldwell County state park with a historic nine-hole golf course built by the WPA and CCC, short interconnected trails along Clear Fork Creek, a playground and basketball court, creek fishing (free loaner gear; no license needed), a summer pool and campsites. Kids can earn a Junior Ranger badge, and the park runs ranger programs on nature, history and outdoor skills plus homeschool programs September to April.
