About this adventure

Meet the Animals is one of the Austin Nature & Science Center's free Saturday programs, a chance to see some of the center's resident animals up close with its naturalist staff. Short sessions of about half an hour repeat through the late morning and early afternoon. Capacity is limited for each session, so the center hands out free activity passes in front of the Visitors Center on a first-come, first-served basis shortly before the first session; families who want an early slot should arrive early. The center sits at the edge of Zilker Nature Preserve, and its outdoor animal exhibits, Dino Pit and trails are open to explore before or after the session.
