About this adventure

Once a month on a Monday morning, the Austin Nature & Science Center hosts Science Storytime, a free drop-in session for children ages 4 and under. Staff read a science-related story and then let the children meet one of the center's animals or touch a nature object, a gentle introduction to the natural world for toddlers and preschoolers. No registration is required. Sessions follow a monthly Monday schedule through the school year, continuing into February and March. After storytime, families can stay to explore the center's outdoor animal exhibits, the Dino Pit and the trails of the Zilker Nature Preserve.
