The Music Hall's holiday-season production of Disney's Mary Poppins flies into its historic Portsmouth theater from December 2 to 20, 2026. The family musical brings the songs from the Disney film, including A Spoonful of Sugar, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and Chim Chim Cher-ee, together with big dance numbers and stage magic, and the theater bills it for audiences of all ages. Performances run Wednesday through Sunday across three weeks, with 1:30pm matinees on several Thursdays and Saturdays, noon and 5pm shows on Sundays, and an ASL-interpreted performance on Friday, December 11 at 7pm. It is a good first big-stage musical for school-age children, and the matinees suit younger kids who do not do well with late evenings. Groups of 10 or more can get additional ticket discounts through the group sales office.
