On the first Wednesday of each month Wenham Museum stays open late and admission is free from 4 to 6pm, a good after-school outing for families on the North Shore. Children can explore the museum's well-loved model train gallery, its vintage toy and doll collections, and hands-on history exhibits. Each month has a theme: November 4 celebrates Native American Heritage Month, and December 2 celebrates the Winter Solstice.
