Free, rotating 45-minute farm education sessions at the Trustees' Appleton Farms in Hamilton and Ipswich, where visitors meet the farm's animals and learn why farmers keep livestock. Each session focuses on a different species with child-friendly demonstrations at the Carriage Barn/Garden area; on October 17 the sessions are Rabbits (10:00-10:45 am) and Goats (11:00-11:45 am). Come to one or stay for all. No registration required; the schedule is subject to change due to weather, animals and low visitation. Offered on Saturdays from October 17 to November 21.
