About this adventure
A Saturday-morning series at Weir River Farm in Hingham that keeps the barnyard to a reduced number of guests and a quieter, sensory-friendly setting for families who benefit from a limited-capacity visit. Children meet the sheep, goats and other animals of one of the South Shore's last working farms, look for the rabbit in his garden, and can explore the farm and woodland trails afterwards. The farm posts a Social Story guide online to preview the visit, and sensory kits, a visual story guide and loaner noise-reducing headphones are available in the barnyard in limited numbers. Pre-registration is required; children 2 and under are free. It runs rain or shine and dogs are not permitted.
