Drama of Works brings a picture-book story of seasonal change and a parent-child relationship to life with puppets, classical music and lots of gentle humor. The show moves through spring, summer, fall and winter with beautifully illustrated, music-driven scenes, which makes it a calm, engaging pick for preschoolers and early elementary children. It is recommended for ages 3 to 8 and plays two shows each day, 10:30 am and 1:00 pm, on Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25, at Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline Village. Kids can usually meet the puppets after the show.
