About this adventure

Crown Point's Santa Parade begins with Santa arriving by helicopter, provided by the Lake County Sheriff's Department, at Pointe Plaza on North Main Street on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Santa greets the families waiting there and then heads to the historic Lake County Courthouse downtown. The city asks spectators to park in the Pointe Plaza parking lot and, so everyone stays safe, to remain behind the orange cones during the arrival. After the parade Santa settles into the lower level of the courthouse and visits with children and families until 4 p.m. The city's calendar lists the arrival from 10 to 11 a.m. and gives no fee or registration.
