About this adventure
The Denton Area Running Club's 11th annual Thanksgiving-morning race starts on East McKinney Street in downtown Denton. Children 10 and under have their own Kids' Gobble Wobble 1K at 8:40 a.m., before the 5K, which follows at 9:00 a.m. on a route through the Texas Woman's University campus and around the historic Downtown Denton Square — a family-friendly course parents and older kids can run or walk together. Registration is through RunSignup, and spots are capped (the page shows how many remain); 5K prices go up after October 31.
