Denton's free Movies in the Park series turns to Halloween films on two Friday nights at Quakertown Park, 321 E. McKinney St. On October 23, 2026 the feature is The Haunted Mansion (PG). On October 30 there is a double feature of Monster House and Poltergeist (1982), both listed as PG, with the films starting at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Each evening opens with preshow activities at 6 p.m., and food trucks and refreshments are on site for purchase.
