The City of Rowlett's Trunk or Treat takes over Downtown Rowlett around 3908 Main St. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. Families trick-or-treat along a lineup of glowing, creatively decorated car trunks, ride five kid-friendly carnival rides and dance to music from DJ Josh. At the city's tent, visitors can fill out a survey to enter a raffle for a prize. The city describes it as a low-key, high-fun way to start the Halloween season with the whole family. Trunk and vendor spots are already full, which affects participants rather than visitors. Maps, the schedule and the vendor list are posted on the event's Eventeny page. The city page does not mention an entry fee.
