About this adventure
From the first Saturday of December into early January, Downtown Allen is decorated with more than 100,000 lights in seasonal backdrops and walk-through installations. Families can stroll the lit streets at their own pace and stop at the photo-op installations — an easy, free evening outing with small children that can be as short or long as you like. The display opens the same day as the city's Holly Jolly Celebration, so the two can be combined. It is sponsored by the Allen Community Development Corporation.
