About this adventure

The Arvada Center's 50th-anniversary holiday-season musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, has two American Sign Language interpreted performances on the Main Stage: Wednesday, December 2 at 7 pm and Saturday, December 12 at 1 pm. Reserved seats near the interpreters give Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests the best view of both the signing and the stage, which makes these the dates to choose for families with Deaf members or children learning ASL. The Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice show retells the Bible story of Joseph and his brothers in a parade of musical styles and is a long-running family favorite. The Arvada Center recommends it for ages 6 and up and admits only children 6 and older; every attendee needs a ticket, with no lap seating or infants in arms. Children 6 to 12 get 35 percent off the regular price, and parking at the center is free.
