About this adventure

Santa signs his holiday greetings at Stanley Marketplace in Aurora on the second Sunday of December. ASL Santa meets families in the marketplace's Common Area for a holiday visit in which American Sign Language is part of the conversation, so Deaf and hard-of-hearing children, children learning ASL and signing families can talk with Santa in their own language. Each family gets a free holiday photo, there is no charge for the visit, and no appointment is needed, so families can drop in at any point during the three-hour window. Stanley runs a series of free Santa visits through the season, each with a different Santa, and this is the one built around sign language; a sensory-friendly Santa is offered separately on November 28.
