About this adventure

Older kids, teens and adults can spend a Saturday afternoon at the Lapeer District Library's Marguerite deAngeli Branch stitching a one-of-a-kind embroidered felt ornament for the holidays. Instructor Nicole leads the workshop, which runs for two and a half hours, long enough for beginners to finish a piece. No embroidery experience is needed, and the library provides all of the supplies. The library lists the session for tweens, teens and adults, so a parent and an older child can sign up together and each take home an ornament to hang or give as a gift. Registration is required through the event's page on the library calendar, and the workshop meets in the branch's deAngeli Meeting Room.
