About this adventure

Blake's Holiday Hustle is a 5K fun run and walk that opens the holiday season at Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill in Armada. It is a relaxed, festive race rather than a serious competition: the farm encourages costumes, welcomes strollers, and greets finishers with sweet cider and donuts (hard cider is for the grown-ups only). That makes it an easy first race for school-age kids who want to run or walk alongside a parent, and families with babies can push a stroller over the course. The race starts at 9:30 a.m. Packet pick-up is at the cider mill on Friday, November 20 from 4 to 7 p.m., or on race morning from 7 to 9 a.m. Registration costs $47 through November 20 and $52 on race day; details and sign-up are on the farm's 5K page. The same farm holds a free tree lighting with carols and fire pits at 6 p.m. that evening.
