About this adventure

The Houston Symphony's annual holiday pops concert at Jones Hall, with the orchestra, the Houston Symphony Chorus and guest vocalist Mikaela Bennett performing classic carols and seasonal favorites. The audience is invited to sing along, and Santa Claus makes an appearance during the show. It runs about two hours, and the symphony sets a minimum age of 6, so it suits school-age children who can sit through a full evening concert; the Sunday 2 p.m. matinee is the easiest fit for families. Every performance is a 'theme night', so dressing up in festive outfits is encouraged. Groups of 10 or more get 10% off.
