About this adventure

Zona Rosa opens the 2026 holiday season with the lighting ceremony at North Park on Saturday, November 21, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Northland elementary school choirs start at 3 pm, and local bands sing holiday songs on the main stage. Kerrigan Arnold and Shane Konicki of My KC Live on KCTV5 emcee. New this year, the mall lists train rides, a magical snow area, a snowball fight with 1,000 synthetic snowballs, and a giant holiday coloring wall. The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who appear, along with a mini reindeer horse and baby goats in pajamas, and a photo booth that prints a keepsake. Food trucks are on site. Santa arrives at 6 pm to switch on the lights. Saint Luke's North Hospital is the presenting sponsor. The page does not print an admission price. A giveaway at the Zona tent is while supplies last. Adult drinks are sold from the Queen of Acorns mobile bar, so the afternoon is a family lighting with a bar option for grown-ups.
