About this adventure
A members-only winter solstice evening at Riveredge Nature Center. Families share Yule Log stew cooked over a campfire with farm-grown root vegetables, then light candle lanterns and head out together to hunt for the hidden Yule Log on the Riveredge land. The night ends with the annual cutting of the log, warm drinks, carols by the campfire and maybe a visit from Father Winter. A vegetarian option is offered. Membership is required to attend.
