FireLake Grill House + Cocktail Bar at Mall of America hosts a sit-down Brunch with Santa. Families order from FireLake's regular brunch menu while Santa walks through the restaurant, stopping at each table to visit with the children, and there is time for photos with him at your table - a calmer alternative to standing in a mall Santa line with small kids. Tables are reserved through OpenTable, so book ahead for the time you want. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots donation drive, which is a nice way to talk with kids about giving. Plan about an hour for brunch; the rest of the mall, Nickelodeon Universe and SEA LIFE are steps away if you want to make a day of it.
