About this adventure

The City of Waconia and its fire department invite families to meet Santa at the Waconia Fire Station on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The free-flowing afternoon is set up for Christmas cheer and twinkling lights, with a visit with Santa as the centerpiece: children can share their Christmas wishes, and families can snap a photo to remember the day. It runs from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, a good way to kick off the holiday season in Carver County without a long drive into the city. In the spirit of giving, the city asks visitors to bring a food shelf item or a toy donation for the Waconia Toy Drive, which helps local families during the holidays. The fire station is home to Waconia's paid-on-call fire department.
