About this adventure
Santa arrives at Southdale Center in Edina on Friday, November 20, and stays through Christmas Eve at the mall's Santa Photo Experience. Families can visit Santa and have their photos taken during set daily hours, and the mall encourages booking a reservation early to be sure of a spot as December fills up. Hours change through the season: weekday visits on the early dates are mostly afternoons and evenings, Saturdays generally run 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sundays are shorter, and the final week before Christmas opens as early as 9 a.m. Santa is closed on Thanksgiving Day, and the last visits are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 24. Southdale also hosts a separate sensory-friendly Caring Santa session for children with special needs on December 6, and pet photo nights with Santa in mid-December.
