Tarrytown's Recreation Department runs the Trudy Dunbar Memorial Turkey Trot the Sunday before Thanksgiving along the Hudson River at Pierson Park, with check-in at the Tarrytown Senior Building on West Main Street. Children ages 7 to 9 run the one-mile Gobbler Trot at 9:30 a.m., and the 5K for runners 10 and older starts at 10:00 a.m. True to the name, prize turkeys are part of the awards.
